Updates/Changes/Fixes: ====================== V4.0.303 * Nutrition database for desktop and PPC included (data comes from the USDA) * Diagnosis functionality will show your current condition with an easy symbolic interface * Win32: Profile data will now also be synchronized * Maintenance of lab test results (A1c, kidney-parameters etc.) * The time ranges of the control times (Befor breakfast, after lunch etc.) can now be edited on the profile tab (clock-icon button) * Win32: Automatic update check functionality checks SiDiary.org for program updates, new language packs, nutrition database etc. * PPC: Added an auto save routine which will save all changes from the bg grid every ~5 seconds * Insert, delete and ordering of columns * Win32: Basal profiles for pumps can now be printed (watch out the template section at SiDiary.org) * Blood glucose calculator added (calculator button at the profile tab): mg/dl <-> mmol/l <-> Whole blood <-> plasma <-> A1c * Win32: Import of OTUS-csv data will compress a correction bolus in SiDiary's format 3+9 * Win32: Import of OTUS-csv data saves you insulin assignements for further imports * Insert timestamp into the remark field * Win32: Print-outs will surpress empty tables from days without data * PPC-Fix: Switching tabs from profile to statistics was incorrect * Win32: Crash on tab change event or switching the display style in maximized screen mode (i.e. Outlook-Style) * Win32: Import of csv files didn't read the last data row * Win32: Initial position of the remark window adjusted, multiline edit box for remarks * Win32: Additional line graph (click 2 x on the line graph icon) * Number of hypoglycemia is now displayed within the detailed statistic * Win32: Auto-Search of PPC-Datafolder within folder selection screen * Win32: Version 3.6.192 destroyed the pumpers details whe the screen was opened for the second time * PPC: Screen 'More settings' was partially covered * PPC: With optimized editing positions in the overview tab the pumpers context list was cut at the top * Navigating to a month without any data will not leave a 0 byte data file any longer * Win32: In the line and dot graphs the context help of 'low values' was displayed for the black dots and the black lines (instead of the yelloq pixels) * If you selected to let SiDiary show the standard deviation in the graphs, you will now get the A1c value with the mouse over text * Win32: Positioning of the main screen at the right bottom now recognizes the actual task bar size * Win32: The middle of your target range from the profile wasn't put to the grid scale (there was always 100 mg/dl displayed instead of the middle of the target range) * Win32: The current patient wasn't read properly within the DiabassPro-Export (Standard-Diabass woked fine) * Win32: Checks if it was started from a read-only drive or/and that the current windows-user has at least rights for write-access. * PPC: The input field for blood pressure was switched visible and it has covered the navigation buttons after clicking between the nav buttons and if the setting "show blood pressure row" was not checked! (Sorry Lynn, it took at least half a year to notice what we were talking about... ;-) ) V3.6.192 * Thai and Greek translation included. V3.5.190 * PPC: The default time-slices were not saved properly (this bug was included since release of the last update). * Export to Excel: Some values were not transferred properly (i.e. Carbs or insulin without a corresponding blood glucose value from this column) * PPC: The command button for the next input sheet was partially covered by the button for compress of columns. * On importing data (i.e. from a OTUS meter) the timestamps were not saved properly. * The percent values of the pie chart had rounding problems; the sum of all slices wasn't 100% in some circumstances. * When you swap to a new input sheet you will now get the hours for the rest of the day instead of the deafult time-slices. V3.5.185 * PPC: Performance-Update. Faster application start with a splash screen, faster access (read / write) of values, better performance of statistics. How much you will get out of the performance improvements depends strongly on your device and several other parameters, so here are my personal savings on a Toshiba e740: (in Sec.,Toshiba e740) | 3.1.175 | 3.5.185 ============================================== Applicationstart | 18 | 7 Piechart-2Weeks | 9 | 6 Piechart-6Weeks | 25 | 14 Piechart-3Months | 45 | 26 Save data (end of month)| 6 | 0.5 * Exported pump basal profiles were exported to Diabass with the format [IE of profile]:[ID of profile] and therefor Diabass displayed such values with 0 units of insulin. I.e. 17,4:1 was send to Diabass instead of 17,4 (which means 17,4 units of basal insulin type, taken from the 1. pump basal profil) * PPC: Possibility to delete text blocks from the remark list * Remarks from a second input sheet was printed only, if also remarks on the 1. input sheet were entered. * A second input sheet which seemed to be empty was printed anyway because of cells with "hidden spaces" * PPC: The "scroll-back" button was covered partially within the "optimized edit positions". Additionally the GotFocus event on the remark input field didn't scroll with this setting. * Several new supported fields for the export and print templates (please find more details at the web). How to update this time: Please terminate both versions (PPC & Win32). Then exchange both versions and restart the applications. To get the real speed of the new PPC version you have to create one of the statistic graphs for all values (time range isn't limited). Within the calculation for this statistic all data files will be converted into the newer, faster file format. After restarting the app you can compare the improvements with the performance of the previous version. Since the data files will be converted with this update, there's no chance to downgrade back to an older version! If you want to go back to an older version, you should backup your data files before updating! V3.1.175 * Italian, Swedish and Portuguese translation included. * PPC: The weight wasn't saved properly on the profile tab. * PPC: The calculation of the A1C parameter was wrong with the following circumstances: If you've used mmol/l and have DEacivated the checkbox "Recalculate bg level values", the A1C was displayed with 0.4. V3.0.173 * More settings: You can now preset which parameter will be displayed at the statistics: A1C or Standard deviation. * PPC: On the profile tab the application crashed if there wasn't selected a bolus insulin and the save button or the option buttons for type I/II were clicked. The application disappeared without any message. Even re-installing it didn't made it run. If you've encountered such a trouble you have to soft reset your PPC and install the new release 173. Please find more details at the FAQ page. Sorry for this hard bug!! :-| * PPC: A colour description for the pie-chart is displayed when you click to the rectangles with the percentage values. * The basal rate of pumpers was inserted not only on the first sheet for a day but also for any further input sheet. * The tracked values for carbs and insulin on the further input sheets were not calculated properly for the detail statistic (carbs per day eg.) V3.0.170 * Polish translation included. * Support for pumpers: Basal profile management and tracking of pumpers events (change of catheter, ampoule, battery, Dual/Twin-Bolus, Delayed Bolus etc.) Quickstart: Profile-Tab, Pumper's icon button. Add your Basal profiles with linkage to the weekdays! (The manual contains more details) * All statistic graphs are now included with the print-outs (Works with MsWinword only, more details on the board!). * The time frame of the statistic graphs can now be scrolled to see directly any changes. * PPC: Improvement of translation file's loading speed on intial start of the application. (~6 seconds compressed to 0,05 seconds) * Typing of decimal values without leading zero will automatically be converted into deciaml with leading zero. * Fix: The current remark input wasn't displayed on the remark-screen. * Automatic save of changes on termination of the application. * The columns can now be compressed if the last column has been filled with values and there is at least one empty previous column. * Improvement of Excel export template (Interpolation of missing data) * Improvement of CSV import, the data will now be compressed for the column view: If the timestamps of bg tracking, carb intake and insulin injection is in a range of 15 minute, they will be compressed to just one column. (The time frame can be specified with an ini-key, 15 minutes are default) * Any bg level can now be marked as a situation with hypo-symptoms: Just add an - to the level (i.e.: 54-). You can even type - or -- without any bg level value if you had a hypo-situation with carb intake but without having monitored your bg level. The statistics will use -=55 und --=40 mg/dl for calculating the average. * The detailed statistic screen is displaying now the average values instead of the totals for carb, insulin etc. * The standard deviation is now be calculated to give you an idea about how strong your levels are varying from the average value. V2.8.119 * French translation included. * Icon for PPC recompiled with Alpha-channel for background color. * Correction for the calculation of (Totalinsulin per body weight): Previously all days of the date range of the statistics were counted for this calculation. If there was a day without any tracked insulin injection the result of the calculation wasn't correct because those days have to be left out for the calculation. If you can understan German, you can read more detailed about why this coefficient is pretty important to diabetics on www.diabetesinfo.de * Correction of line graph: blodd glucose levels tracked for after midnight times were sorted inproperly. * Program group & icons will be created on the very first start. V2.7.103 * Danish and czech translation included. V2.6.100 * Spanish translation included. * Algorithm for pie-chart drawing is completely new. If this new code would cause trouble you can reactivate the older code by setting the key PieOld=1 (in SiDiary.ini-file) * Algorithm for line graph optimized (the old one needed 75 sec. on the PPC for drawing the last 6 weeks now it takes 5 sec. :) ). Again: If anything doesn't work, add an ini-key: SortOld=1 * PPC: There's a new close-button on the about-screen to terminate SiDiary instead of just hiding it. * PPC: The date picker comes up by double-click on the date range boxes when the box already has the focus. * Fix: The automatic update of the column time headers didn't work on a second bg sheet with after midnight times. * Win32: Graphs within the zoom-Window are now painted persistantly. The zoom-window finds more spots beneath the main window. * Win32: The Mouseover status texts for pie-chart (low values, target values etc.) were displayed in German, now the current language setting is used. * Win32: The format of a selected csv-file will now be checked for mandatory fields prior importing it. * PPC & Win32: If a message/GUI-text is missing in a language (other than English and German) it will than be displayed in English. If English is also missing the German text will be displayed. V2.5.92 * Cosmetic correction of the line graph on the statistics tab. If you've used the am/pm time format setting and have entered a time like 12:XXpm, the blood glucose value wasn't shown at the appropriate position on the x-axis, since it was sorted after all other pm-time entries. V2.5.91 * In the PPC-version the labels for Basal/Bolus were mixed up :-| V2.5.90 * The OTUS-csv-Format (OneTouch UltraSmart) can now be imported. * Fix: A entered value for blood pressure was not saved, when clicking into another blood pressure cell beside. * Context menu for selecting the type of statistics instead of stepping through all of them. * The Messagebox title have displayed 'Visual Basic' instead of SiDiary. * Typ1/Typ2-presetting ->Management of pills, other labels etc. * Types of insulins/pills can now be edited directly in the application. * Fix: Selecting a further remark entry has overwritten the previously entered text. * Red lines for bg limit can now be configured on screen 'More settings'. * Limits for A1C and Totalinsulin/weight can now be configured. Values from above of these limits will be shown in red color. * You can now select up to 4 types of insulin and/or pills in the profile tab. Type2 diabetics can now select either pills and also insulins. * Fix: Click on an empty statistic window (PPC only) has produced a "subscript out of range"-error message. * Diabass-Interface: Comments are now exported along with the bg level values. * New screen: More settings * Statistics: Y-axis can now be configured to be dynamic ranged. This means that the max bg level value is the highest value monitored in the selected date range. This gives you a better resolution for the graphs. Der im Profil eingestellte Zielbereich kann ebenfalls als Linien eingeblendet werden. * Statistics (PPC only): Selecting a specific date range for the statistics can now be done with the date picker instead of typing it manually. * Keyboard-only input has been improved for the Windows-client. Use Cursor-Keys for navigation and F2 for entering edit mode (->Excel-Style). * The default bg-value is not saved into a cell if you'll leave it without any changes. * Translators: Optimized screen for translation. If you want to help me localizing it into another language, I'll be pleased to send you the access key for that form. Alf Windhorst Friedrichsdorf, Germany, 08/20/2004 http://www.sidiary.org
